Dolls are a bond between a child and the doll, some adults and collectors have been known to bond with dolls too. Some people are fortunate to get highly valuable dolls/toys worthy of high end auctions. Less fortunate or poor people are left to haggle over any doll they have in their heart and usually are at the mercy of snobs, mortgaging your home just to own one of what they have. It's not all about money. It's about shareing dolls with other, or making sure every child has a doll/toy and every little girl has a doll. Or it's even about giving to anyone who can't afford one. One lady found amongst my dolls back when I had the money ones, a bride which matched the groom her husband was buried with. I practically gave a $2,000.00 doll to her to lie next to her husband with in death. I've given away thousands of dollars of expensive-M.I.B.-Radio Flyers, Action figures, Kewpies, Ginnys and of course famous charactors to toy drives for children who were forgotten every Christmas by the larger toy drives and have no resources and families that could not get into any toy drives and their children were forgotten every year. No one knew I was financing, collecting and behind these toy drives. I had a couple of boxers, bikers and even a mayor delivering my toys to forgotten children. I didn't get to see the faces of all those children when they got the toys, but God did.  It's about sharing dolls/toys.  Not who know the most or who has the most or just how mean and snobby can I be to other doll collectors.  Many people pretended to be my friend only for a moment. They know I'll give them expensive dolls if they ask and don't steal. I've given many to people for their elderly mothers, or because they loved it. My house has been robbed 20 times or more. I guess some thieves know a little about dolls too. I've had people shop in my home. Most everything of any value has been taken, shared or given. One personal little friend of mine, a burn victum.  His entire body was burned. We became friends. I learned he loves action figures. He keeps them in their boxes hanging on his walls. I gave him 500 sets of them. All sets of Kiss, different ones, wrestlers, Bat-Man, Spider-Man, Super-Man many groups of singers/bands/rock stars or famous people. Only him, me and God know about it. Every little girl I've ever met, must have a doll. It's important for kids to have dolls/toys but don't be snobs as a child and don't grow up to be a snob. Every doll/toy is worth something to someone!  So share your dolls and toys, I'm trying to share aren't I?

Another little girl I met and became friends with was deaf and couldn't talk. She could see, not good but she could and could feel. I had been collecting a huge trunk of rare Barbie dolls, huge bag of clothing belonged to them and accessories galore.  They were new condition and still had their boxes.  I also had another trunk I had been collecting tons of sets of little doll china dishes of all sorts.  I gave all of it to her and gave her something to do with her hands. Her older sister never left her side, protected her. She stuck around also to be her parents interpretor since they spoke no English. Amazing children. I gave her some antique dolls, lots of them which were M.I.B. I told her to wait a few years before selling them. Let their value go up. So for you snobs out there, I've been there and had it all and shared it with the world, so nannana booboo. These dolls are all I have left now. Enjoy looking at my dolls because it was always about SHARING. I had only one toy as a child. A doll with no head and I loved her anyway. I had to sit and watch the snobs of the neighborhood when I was a little girl, play with all their dolls/toys. If I touched one, they would pack up and go home. I held my doll with no head tight while watching them set up their Barbie Empires, thinking someday that will be me and I'll share. One day and this day too-I told that little girl and her friends-when I grow up, everyone will have dolls/toy. I will have dolls/toys-so for now-if your a snob-I've given away more than you people have seen and that includes shelves upon shelves of Shirley Temple comp dolls. I may get a doll wrong or misspell something. I have an excuse; I'm a Hillbilly and a true blonde and a simple woman. LOL Enjoy my dolls. I'm trying to play nice and share my dolls/toys. I won't share with snobs. If your a snob or doll know it all or are used to the thousand dollar high end auctioins and sites or a wanna be doll critic-pack your dolls/toys/attitude and go. No one like snobs they don't share.
